how to hack:

Click the keyboard in the bottom right, this will let you type commands directly and is much faster.

There are 3 commands available to you. 'ls' lists the files held on this device. 'cat <file number>' accesses the files. And finally 'connect <ip address>' connects to a server. 

There is a 4th command, 'help'. On its own this lists the available commands. However if you type 'help <command>' it will describe how to use that command in more detail. For example 'help ls' would describe what ls does.

When you connect to a server, make sure to use the help command to check if there are any commands unique to that server.

If you still have trouble, or are fed up with this and just want the solution, keep reading. However this is all you need to be able to solve the puzzle.

There is also an easter egg command 'cat tunya' which will feed the cat tuna.

Input the following commands:

• connect 127.0.10
• mode 9

This will solve the initial hacking. If you want to do more hacking there is an optional thing afterwards. If this doesn't work, keep reading for an explanation of exactly how to find the solution.

Explanation:

In file 1 (or maybe file 2 I dont remember, access using 'cat 1' or 'cat 2') there is a note that tells you the IP of the bluespace control room. Connecting to there and using the help command to explore the options available to you, you will learn that using a new command (mode) will set the door to maintenance mode. This will unlock the door and end the hacking. Specifically, if you type 'help mode' you will see that maintenance mode is 'mode 9'.

There seems to be a major bug that deletes clothing items. I keep having socks and underwear just disappear from my wardrobe, and forcing me to re-buy them.

I checked back in on this game after a long wait, seeing what new content there is. Unfortunately it seems that this game still is stupidly tight on money. I want to play a fun kink game, not get anxious about paying the bills and feeding my cat. Cat feed is not $50 a week, and either add some events that give money (randomly finding a $20 on the street) or give a slight boost to the lower paying jobs. Or just reduce rent to $400 so its enough to be there, but not enough to seriously impact the player. 

After reloading I pinched pennies (I was $1 off of rent) and passed it but yeah, cat feed is way too expensive and rent just isn't a good mechanic in this type of game unless you tune it to be something players won't notice unless they are trying to fail.

The only hint I get is "do the dark alley content". Which I have done. I still can't find the new scene there. And according to the patch notes there should be 2 scenes, and the second one doesn't seem to be in the gallery as far as I can tell.

How do you access the new scenes? The progression of that questline seems broken bc every time I talk with L it says wait for the next update?

I think it happens to any race, not just kobold, I cant get past race selection without that error. Idk if that makes a difference coding-wise, just figured I should report it.
